Neil completed a BSc in Computer Science at Massey University, Palmerston Nth in 1985. He worked in the IT industry as a programmer, rising through the ranks to Software Manager for Trilogy Business Systems in Palmerston Nth.
In the late 80s a life choice saw Neil change direction and go farming with his then wife in the Wairarapa. He maintained his interest in computers by his involvement is then Father-in-Law's farming software company called Computer Concepts specialising in computer software for farmers. Being a keen innovator saw Neil embark on a new venture of Milking Sheep. 2001/2002 brought major upheavals with a marriage break up which saw Neil leave the farm and start a new life in Wellington back in the computer industry.
Over the next few years Neil developed a desire to have his own business selling and servicing computers which culminated in PCPatch. In 2005 Neil & Richelle married and 1 week later took over their newly purchased shop and began their journey.
